Because many of you answer the call to Make A Difference WTC can provide the community with many of the necessary items for daily survival. We Thank You for your donations and we ask that you continue to support the efforts of Women That Care. Donations are accepted year round for upcoming events . Please check our blog for updates on events, programs, the WTC Calendar & info on ways you can donate or volunteer.
When thoughts become things! Women That Care's 100 Kids on Wheels Initiative is one of God's examples of how visions becomes goals, that then become reality!
Women That Care would like to extend our love and gratitude to our community of supporters, business owners, organizations, women and men that care. Your answer to the call to help and sponsor bikes, donate toys, time and services this holiday season made our efforts possible to serve the community. Because of you, Christmas will be a little brighter for many of our children in need! It takes a village, and we will continue to reach for 100, but together we have already made a difference!
Donations are still being excepted and we look forward to seeing you this Sunday @ Worthdale Community Center for WTC's Annual Christmas Celebration >> https://bit.ly/2ECNDqi
It's Our Favorite Time of the Year!
What a blessing to be able to spread holiday cheer through out the community! This is our favorite time of the year, because we get so many opportunities to team up with others and support the community when it matters the most.
We are grateful for the invitation from both Touching Lives Ministries and Lost Sheep Ministries to join in on the Holiday fun and blessings to those in need. As always fun times, food, family, joy and community! Thank you for the chance to be apart of your effort to make a difference in someone's life. Happy Holidays!
CANCELLATION DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER ~ RESCHEDULED 12/23
The Holiday Season is here and Women That Care are geared up and ready to spread the love and cheer to children in need this Christmas. In partnership with Worthdale Community Center, WTC is excited to join forces once again with Excelsior League Super Heroes, a group characters with the same mission of giving back to communities and children. The non-profit organization suit up in costumes such as Spider Man, Super Man, Wonder Woman and many more, to participate in child-friendly events, to help create smiles and long lasting memories.
WTC is also honored to welcome the YMCA SUPER SKIPPERS of North Carolina for an exciting performance for the kids.
ALL ORGANIZATIONS WILL JOIN TOGETHER ON SUNDAY DECEMBER 9TH TO HELP PUT 100 KIDS ON WHEELS!
From 2pm - 5pm, the Holiday Celebration will take place at the Worthdale Community Center with a focus to serve families in need of assistance during the season with bicycles, unwrapped toys and gifts, snacks, games, fun entertainment and more. Each year Women That Care organize a holiday event uniquely themed to serve as many as possible. For the first time ever, this year's goal was to collect 100 bikes to raffle off to families in need. With several days still ahead of the event, WTC is proud to have collected plenty of brand new bicycles by way of supporter donations, unwrapped toys and boxed meals ready to help bring joy into the homes of the lesser fortunate.
Sponsors Joining Women That Care to help make this celebration a success will be:
Toys 4 Tots NC
Jackie Newkirk / State Farm Insurance
Jersey Mikes Subs, Panera Bread & Food Lion
We invite you to be apart of this fun-filled event, which is expected to give back to over 100 kids and families for the upcoming holiday season! Contact Us to Donate or Volunteer! Be Sure to Spread The Word!
